Calavo® Caribbean Salsa

Recipe Ingredients:
1 - 3lb. bag, Calavo® Frozen Avocado Halves
2 lbs or to taste Sun Rich Diced Fruit Salad, or Tropical Fruit Salad
½ to 1 medium red onion, diced
1 bunch cilantro leaves, chopped
2 jalapeno peppers, seeds not removed, diced
Juice from 1 lime (optional)
Garlic, Salt and Pepper to taste

Recipe Method:

  • Thaw Frozen Avocado Halves under Refrigeration. Chop or mash when thawed.

  • Combine all ingredients except Avocados (this can be done ahead of time).

  • Adjust seasonings such as cilantro, onions, peppers and lime juice to taste.
  • Add ingredients to the avocados, cover and refrigerate for one hour to let flavors combine.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Serve with tortilla chips
  • Use to top grilled chicken or fish
