Production Supervisor - Reading, PA
Guided by Sun Rich's vision, values and culture, and the
short and long-term business strategies and goals, the
Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising the
daily production and safety programs. The emphasis is on
production requirements, employee safety, quality
assurance, and product integrity.
Specific Responsibilities:
-
Assist in supervising production floor
activities and employees, including scheduling.

Train new employees on job duties and safe work
practices.
-
Establish and maintain communication with
management.
-
Establish a good co-relation with other line
supervisors.
-
Establish, follow, and improve teamwork.
-
Understand, enforce and follow all procedures
established by the company in your area of
responsibility.
-
Establish positive employee relations with all
employees.
-
Coach employees so they understand the
importance of work, safety, GMP and HACCP
procedures.
-
Supervise and monitor sanitation.
-
Ensure proper hygiene is followed.
-
Notify management of any changes needed to
establish procedures.
-
Support and encourage people to do their best
Requirements
-
1- 2 years experience in a food manufacturing
facility.
-
Supervisory experience an asset, but not required.
-
Working knowledge of GMPs and food safety.
-
Excellent communication skills and the ability to
help people do their best.
-
The ability to communicate in Spanish an asset.
